Kevin Deswarte

French-Australian landscape artist Kevin Deswarte was born in Paris where he spent his early childhood. Not very marked by the capital, it is on the shores of the Mediterranean that it will grow in the middle of the landscapes, the gardens of the Riviera and will reach its emotional maturity.

The family atmosphere is punctuated by many trips that make him discover the world and develops a great curiosity; Peoples, cultures and landscapes mingle with his inspirations and Art is always present.

Very early attracted by the lines and the forms, it is with currents such as “Land Art”, “Arte-Povera”, or “Pop-Art” that he carries out his research, these currents l will accompany during all his studies.

His passion for nature makes him discover the world of gardens. After completing his studies as a gardener, he began training in “landscaping and landscape architecture”. Ten years of close collaboration with Jean Mus allow him to consolidate his choice and refine his expertise. The work with elements, lines and volumes, colors, shapes and materials are all subtle links with “Mother Nature”, architecture, aesthetics in general, fields or beauty and simplicity imposing themselves as guides…

Aware of this, he aspires today to realize his Gardens by recreating a “Uni-green” that would invite the sensitive, the awakening of the senses and intimacy.

The garden is the only open-air common room in the house (a habitat), where everyone finds their place !
